The new Turkey Hill Experience plan proposes the rehabilitation of an historic silk mill in desperate need of repair. The rehabilitation will provide 19,000-sf space for retail, restaurant, and cultural center use on a 2.7-acre site.

The redevelopment of this site provides a prominent location for one of Lancaster County's trademark establishments. The developer's attempt to maintain the mill's footprint and bulk of existing structure will help preserve a piece of Columbia Borough's heritage while accommodating this new use.
